After being founded in 2010 with an emphasis on strong beer, Epic Brewing Company still continues to proudly produce award winning, small-batch beer. Grab a Big Bad Baptist to relax by the fire, a Los Locos for a sunny day at the beach, or one of our IPA’s for anything in between. Our 22oz bombers are perfect for sharing with a friend or savoring all evening. Ces serves as a community, cultural and resource center, Colorado’s Brew a platform of visibility for Latino performing artists, vendors, artisans and organizations that serve our community. For Latinos, Raíces is a place where to connect with other Latinos and feel at home surrounded by traditional Latin food, music, culture and great beer. For non-Latinos, Raíces is a place where, in addition to having great food, music and beer, people can learn about Latin culture and its richness.

Much like the West Coast cities of Portland, Seattle, and San Diego, Denver is one of the best places to explore the bustling craft brewing scene. Bierstadt Lagerhaus, however, stands out for how simple its beers are. The lagerhaus follows the strict Reinheitsgebot process, otherwise known as the German Beer Purity Law of 1516.

Colorado beer geek Stephen Adams has visited hundreds of breweries in the craft-beer-mad state. Considering Colorado is home to one of the premier brewing festivals in the world, it makes sense that a fair number of breweries fall into the trap of taking themselves too seriously. "Maybe it was because I was hungry, but this place has one of the best salads I have ever had, I still think about it today. Just the right amount of dressing. Burgers are also delicious and super juicy." Denver has been nicknamed "the Napa valley of beer," but it is unclear how this nickname came to be. Referenced by the Denver Business Journal, it's rumored that the nickname was created by the Sheraton Hotel chain as part of their "Chief Beer Officer" promotion in 2008. According to the Beer Institute, the state ranked number one in terms of gross beer production, producing over 23,370,848 barrels in 2006. Colorado is home to 4 of the top-50 brewing companies in the nation. Dry Dock’s Amber Ale was the beer that put the brewery on the map. This beer, one of the company’s first recipes, scored Dry Dock a Gold Award at the 2006 World Beer Cup®, creating recognition for the brewery less than a year after its opening. This original recipe came full circle when it won another Gold Award at World Beer Cup® a decade later.
